Have not seen it on TV. Which Kadett series? They have been built from 1962–1992.

After seeing this car on Top Gear thought it would make a characteristic first car. However, then tried to fond one and had no luck.
Anyone know where i could get one? apart from Africa!
I think the one on top gear is a Kadett A or B, not sure which, what you want is a nice Kadett C coupe, my first car was one, complete with bullet hole in the fornt wing!Anyone know where i could get one? apart from Africa!

Historic rallying or just an affection? My grandfather sold Opels in the 70's, he sold a 2 ltr to a solicitor in Lyndhurst, I went looking for it.
I think all RHD were converted in UK by someone, Tony Fall? Not built by Opel.
Now this is sad....
Conversions done by TPA (Tong Park Automotive) in Bradford, and yes, you're right run by Tony Fall.
There were two versions, the 2.0E and the GT/E. The 2.0E was an economy version, the GT/E was the full fat version.
Brilliant cars, and yes, I had a 1200S coupe too. My friend at the time had a road rally example complete with cage!
So much more 'cool' than the shove-it

Used to own this, bought it in 99 I think.
Sold it in 2002 to some one in China - here it is off to the container terminal.
Was an ex race/rally car, here in the 70's. Was restored by someone in Leeds in the 90's

Not been able to find a Kadett coupe for sensible money and I've been sort of looking for about a year. There is a four door early Kadett that pops up on fleabay repeatedly but was a part finished/started resto.
I need a pair of sealed beam units for a 1975 cross-eyed Victor 2300s if anyone has any (since this seems to be a GM Vaux/Opel thread.....)
Nice Manta... rather have a Monza
