I'd heard that as they were only made in low numbers every one was slightly different wink

There's a promising very low mileage example advertised in this month's C&SC, if you're looking for one.

Oh I have done - not the buying part admittedly, but no question which one I'm gonna get.

And it's not an AC 3000, although just about every other type of car is listed in the AC section, so it's not inconcievable an S might appear there! As a matter of fact I've just been eulogising about my first TVR experience in that part of the forum. biggrin

Hi

Try having a look here if your really interested in an AC 3000ME http://www.ac3000me.com/

I have owned 2 including the twin turbo race car shown in my profile, most parts are available for them, despite just under 2 hundred being made.

Must admit I really enjoyed mine, one I used as a daily driver, weak points are the gearbox, and a tub rot.

Cheers

Joe T

It could be an AC Schnitzer, so not too far wide of the mark!

Oh no...................

gents, I have bad news.

I searched on google images for ac3000s, saw one of the images was on barryboys.co.uk, followed it. You may wish to look away now frown

Words fail. I one day hope to have an AC3000 as my first real weekends and holidays car, a stepping stone until i can lay my hands on a Ferrari 328

And here is a picture of one of those proper ACs just so we can get that vile chavwagon bmw off this thread! opinionated? moi?

Not sure on the purple one looks like some sort of film extra.

But the other is Jnx, raced by Robin Rew in the early days, ran Water Meth mix to produce around 385 BHP, took a bit of beating on hillclimbs.

All that had gone when I had it but it was still quick.
