Just to let you all know that the above rally will be taking place on the 16th of this month in my home town in the beautiful Scottish Borders and you are all most welcome to bring your precious machines for a great day out.
I will be helping out with the organisation but will be on the MB Owners Club area with my 500 SEC for most of the day.
It would be great to meet some of you in person at last so don't be shy!

Regards,

James.

Pity about the rain. otherwise a good day.

Sporting Bears were busy selling bears and collecting donations, and between that and feeding my face, I forgot to look on the MB stand for Jith. Sorry!

Well done Fiona (Mummy Polar Bear) and the other Bears for all your hard work - as I say it's a pity the weather put a bit of a spoiler on all the plans.

I'd like to take the opportunity to say a big "thank you" to all the Polar Bears who turned up to put on a super display of cars for others to enjoy. Also to everyone who manned the stand, man/woman-handled the bears and other assorted cuddly items and extracted donations from any passer-by. Andrew has to be congratulated on his particular can-rattling achievements despite the, at times, appalling weather. We raised £236.50 which was an excellent result considering the low turnout by members of the public.

We took the opportunity to let folk know that the Sporting Bears will again be offering Dream Rides at the Thirlestane event on 1 June 2007 - a note for your diary.

Hope everyone has now dried out and the assorted bears which we didn't manage to re-home this year will have a pleasant winter's hibernation. See you all next year.
