29th August 2007 would have been his 60th birthday.

RIP James.

This could have been written for him:

Life's not a journey to the grave intent on arriving in a well preserved & perfect body, rather we should skid in sideways, beer in one hand & crisps in the other, body used up & screaming "Wey hey what a ride!"

Yes - read something about that, oddly think it was in something The Times. Not sure what he's driving. There was a pic of him standing by a Daweoo Matiz though......

Yeah, that's it. He drives a beat up Matiz, I must have read the same article. I think he was going into single seaters or somthing and being courted by a few teams, not heard much else really.

Well, considering he could've afforded any car at the peak of his career, his Dad drove an Austin A35 Van, deliberately fitted with crossply tyres to keep him on his toes, so it sounds like the son is a chip off the old block driving

British GT at Oulton Park earlier this year, I took a photo of it because I thought it amusing that someone had written HUNT in the dirt on the side!
