Does anyone know anything about the Hume Cooper? it started life as a T39 Bobtail and was converted into a F2 car in the late 1950's and was raced by Chris Bristow and later by Ian Raby. In late 1961 it was converted to an F1 car by John Hume from Cooper cars and made 3 appearances in 3 non-championship F1 events. Its last known appearance was being raced at Mallory Park in 1964 by a 'Mr B.M Ford?'. Rumours are the car ended up in Jersey as sand racer, any info would greatly appreciated.
