Had a bit of a result on the revival and picked up cancellation grandstand seats!

Mind you this looks like yet another year my e type is not going to turn a wheel in anger.

The Revival is not to be missed! I'm coming over from France with the old flat floor E type roadster for the event. Then it's off to Watkins Glen for the Zippo Historic Grand Prix. Amazing isn't it - £23 for the Zippo and £90 for Goodwood. What do you think?

I think that Goodwood is a bit less of a drive for me than Watkins Glen! hehe

Indeed you can _TC, the website is no longer selling advance tickets. They are £25.00 which is expensive but it won't stop me from going, well worth the 3 hour drive for me to get there too!!

Everyone have a good time?

Jazz was fun Saturday evening.

Shame about the girl that rolled the A7, not badly hurt it seems.

It was an absolutely superb day, glorious weather, beautiful surroundings and of course the most fascinating and evocative cars.

Highlight for me was the GN Parker Special as it slithered and drifted its merry way up the hill, pure heaven for me.
Great to see D. Day still giving it his all, gunning up the hill with all the gutso that he has ever had, bow

The downside of the day, and it's a huge downside to me....................

.................the fact that I now have a huge itch to scratch in the shape of an Ulster rep to do hillclimbing in!!

I was hoping that you might say that it is a horrendous idea and that I should erase the idea from my head! hehe

I was just imagining it was me in the paddock prepping the lil' 747cc engine and then queuing for my run up the hill. A weekend wouldn't get much better than that now would it. Well unless I was piloting R4D up the hill obviously!

You should go definitely for an Ulster rep good fun fast and cheap parts - it can also be trialled in the winter which is even more fun and very sociable.

I had an excellent first competitive Prescott in my Nash, it's a completely different experience to the other side of the fence! A slipping clutch slightly spoilt the last run, but Sunday morning was good only 0.68 off my handicap time.
