On a website here in NZ is a mystery car feature. http://classiccarfair.com/mysterycar.htm

This car has been on for ages and needs identifying, its probably a kit. Any ideas?

Windscreen frame looks a bit MG Midget or MGB to me, as used on quite a few kits.

Dont think its a Kallista.

Looks a bit like a open version of a Beauford, not sure if they made one, it just has that tackiness.

I've had a Kallista so pretty sure its not that. It does have triple wipers so maybe Jaguar based? It is RHD but looks overseas, maybe Australian?

There is somthing about the louvres just in front of the radiator grille that is very familiar.

Oooohhhhh, this is annoying.

I haven't got a scooby doo as to what it is.

At a guess I'd say it's an Australian design, though it could be American, especially from the look of the front lights but it sure does look to use a lot of British parts. Windscreen looks MGB / Austin Healey and the wire wheels look Jaguar - if it's an MG screen then the track width would suggest Jag suspension front and rear.
