Anyone use this?
Has anyone replaced Dot 4 or 5.1 with silicone on their same car?
The reason I ask is that I've just overhauled my brakes including the replacing of all pipes.
I've used an eezibleed pressurised one man bleeding kit for now planning to redo this once I've found my willing assistant.

Anyway my reason for starting this thread was have you noticed the difference in pedal travel?

Before you commit I hope you have completely changed all the rubbers in the cylinders and calipers. With silicone the rubbers swell if previously used with DOT4 with potential catastrophic results.

I've since drained out the silicone, cleaned all the seals and am flushing through with cheapo Dot4 in readiness for some quality Dot 5.1.
What an expensive exercise!
