Could it be M series TVR - there were almost as many variations as there were cars built but the holes on each end look the right size/shape to accommodate the Ford eyeball vents common to most of these with a space for a rev counter and speedo either side of the steering column and things like oil pressure, fuel guage, battery charge and clock. All are around the right size for the Smiths instruments commn to most TVRS (and otehr specialist sportscars of the same time.

Any other ideas?

Well, to start with it looks LHD since the glove box is on the right and the slot for the column on the left. That ring any bells with you?

I think its a Reliant scimitar and its upside down in the picture, the cut outs are not for demisting the screen but to mount a radio/centre consul.

OK, so I am an Australian! I don't think it is Scimitar because IMHO the Scimitar had a straight across dashboard. I wonder if it could be a Cortina 1600E type? OK, I'm an Australian with a bad memory........

Definately not Scimitar GTE - I've owned all models and its not even close.
