Navigator Wanted for CRA Marathon, Norway. Leave Newcastle 8th, ends 14th September 2007
By all previous accounts, a wonderful event. Lots of gravel, stunning scenery and excitement. This is not a touring type event. See www.classicrally.org.uk
I have competed in over 50 UK & International rallies, and hillclimbs with some good finishes. Car is a fire spitting, works specification, Healey 3000 rally car. Strongly prepared, always finished, always driven to and from. It's very noisy, very hot, very thirsty and you will most likely be too. As Navigator, you need wide experience of road timing, some good placings,a sense of humour, know the difference between a Rioja/ Lambrussco and really up for the event.
I would ask you to split the cost of event fees. That will end up around £2.2K each. It's not cheap but you're unlikely to ever forget it.
The calm before the storm
Outside temp 30, inside 55
The climb to 3000M
The end. Final placing 33/120, 2nd in Class
Halfords? About these brake pads...
