how much for a good one
Lots! Probably in excess of £6K if you want one that will do more than 50mph and won't rust faster than you can weld it back together!
I'd agree with that. You won't get any change out of £6k for a decent bay window. The high price of split screens has made the bay window models more desirable as an entry into van ownership. There are a lot of companies who have sprung up over the last couple of years bringing vans in from the US with inflated prices. They don't always necessarily know what they are talking about either. Have a look at www.dubs4sale.com to get an idea of realsitic prices (they also show ones that have sold recently).
PM me if you want a full list of places to scour.

and up to £8-9k for a restored bay nowadays..! Jeez, you've got to pay 4k for a fairly good T25 at the moment !
I was looking into getting a bay, but for the money it just wasn;t "worth it", so got a T4 MultiVan instead.. these will be next on the "collectable VW" list and are already starting to feature in VolksWorld as resto/custom projects.
Cheers
Matt

take a look at the pic in my profile, that van went up in smoke in June and so far my insurance co have paid out £6.5k I'm still argeuing with them as to replace it with one of the same condition is going to set me back £9k at least.

Might give you some inspiration but you'll need a bigger budget

Seating?
The term 'Walk thru'
does that mean Two singles at the front
or can you still get and Two seater (PASSENGER)+ DRIVER
up front, or is it just a bench seat as an alternative.
DUBS4SALE good site BTW

You've guessed it.. walk through is basically two seats, as opposed to a double passenger and single driver seat, giving 3 seats at the front.
