For those who enjoy motor sport images from years gone by ...

There's a particularly fine picture of Graham Hill driving a Mk2 Lotus Cortina in the way that they really should be driven - have a look through the Touring Car album for that one.

Superb! There are photos on there from the 1983 British GP as well as the BTCC support race. That was the first GP I went to, as a 13-year-old, and seeing the pictures of Prost, Piquet, De Angelis and Mansell brings back fond memories.

I especially like the podium shots of Alain and Nelson spraying the Moet. My mate who I went with got close enough to get himself and his camera sprayed with champagne, and his camera never worked properly after that! At least he could tell people that Alain Prost buggered his Praktica up...

One of the links on that site is to the Klemantaski collection;

www.klemcoll.com/

which sounds like it could be an incredible browse. Just need a year off to go through all the images.

This is a particularly interesting image for a number of reasons.

Just before it on the gallery page is a shot of a well known PH'er racing a C type Jag at Goodwood.

Her's an astonishing shot of taking the chequered flag - taken from the winning car!
