As practicality is obviously relative in the world of classic cars, just wondering how the following would fare:

www.racecar.co.uk/driveon/details.asp?VehicleID=194

Are long journeys out?
Are parts difficult to find?

I hope this is not a "if you have to ask" question.

Thanks

to be honest not very.
its a full on race car so the engine will be a bit wild and may not be up to road mileage, but its still an austin 7 so not that fast when its on the road.
parts are plentiful, and easy to get, so thats one plus point.

Great car, top money, in no way a daily driver, or even trips out, maybe, just maybe, the odd Sunday morning blast out on local roads, and thats about it. I reckon its a trailor to the track job that one.

Just guessing but I would imagine there would be quite a bit of work you would have to do to make it road legal.

If looking for an interesting road going Seven type I'm not sure this would be the place to start.

I suspect the answwer to at least one of your questions is 'Yes', as you feared.

BG is right again! I would not want to be driving this to events - definately a trailer job. If it's not, it could be made road legal but I am not sure that's the point of this one. Also at that price I wouldn't want to mess around with it too much

Thanks for all your replies. As I feared then. Hadn't even considered wether it was road legal or not, so thanks for pointing that out.

For that money you could build one of these

Road legal and easier to get parts for.
