They are indeed superb looking machines. The twin cam is the one to have apparently, although the engine is fragile. Not as fast or accomplished as they look, but hte looks go a long way. MGs last seperate chassis car.
I saw on in a classic car mag which had been converted to a V8! Litle areo screens, no bumpers and modernised running gear - looked fantasic and very fast. A laboutr of love by a an accomplished engineer and mechanic though.
It would be a good car to do the 'classic car with modern underpinnings' job on.

I love the MGA FHC myself, always reminded me of an everymans XK120 FHC.
