Pebble Beach Concours 2006
Discussion
Peb Beach.
"Dink, money no object, what would you have?" :longthinking: "I'd have a mint TZ to race."
Really, all the power in the world is no fun . . . I like to work for my speed.
Or just cruise my life away . . .
Foosse, dream on . . .
After kicking a tin of AutoGlym: "They fing should drive those rotters, and hard!"

The problem with Pebble beach, in my opinion is they dont put much emphasis on originality (or driving), but in absolutew condition and showy-ness. Hence you see fabulous early Ferraris, with white-wall tyres, and that car with chrome everywhere. 10 years ago someone won with an Alfa 2.9, which had (I think) Aligator skin seat covers. Not original, and done simply because they would make the judges go "wow" and win.
They even have been known to stick a broom up the exhaust pipe to test for carbon deposits. The cars are that clean and driven that infrequently, you see...
