Saw a gullwing merc in a service station

At the Strensham (sp?) service station on the northbound M5 this afternoon I saw TWO 1950s Merc SLs - one was green GULLWING and the other a red similar vintage "normal" SL. I had really pleasant chat with the drivers, who were husband and wife, and very nice people. They were on their way to an SL "event". Great to see soemthing like a gullwing being used...
