There was a grifo at alan carrington a few years back, which had been owned by a celeb (litchfield i think) and wasn't that much money.... I did consider selling everything for it but worked out that it probably wouldn't give me enough for the fuel bill....

That's the same place I bought my Vette from.
Not wishing to break Ted's name and shame policy but I won't be going back there. Nice car though
Cheers Dinkel. First visit to the Yesterday's Heros forum for me!
Oh I do love the Grifo, a superb Euro Muscle Car/GT and that one's in a great colour combination.
I'd love to see a modern interpretation of the Grifo. Proven mechanicals in the form of the Corvette's latest 7 litre V8, wrapped up in a suitably stylish body and a higher quality interior than the Vette. A sort of cut price Aston, I guess.
The Invicta S1 gets closest at the moment.

Does anyoen else think it must be horrible to work at Auto-Salon Singen?
Can you imagine having to dop something other than just wander around looking and touching those cars?
An then to think that if you do your job well they disappear from your sight, probably into someone's private collection never to see the light again in your lifetime or off to some enthusiast who will end up wrecking them by racing them a la Adrian Newey and his chums.
Nope. I would really hate a job at Auto-Salon Singen ...

That car is on the Classic and Sports Car magazine stand at the NEC Classic car show this weekend. Saw it yesterday and it is fffffffing lovely! Feature in the magazine next month I think.
