Greasing my nipples

Silly question, but what does this involve?

I have a grease gun, and I know where the nipples are. So I place the gun over the nipple and then what? How do I know what I have put enough grease in there? I tried it once, only to see a rubber gromit at the top was starting to move upwards- I'm pushing grease out now..

Any advice needed. Its 4:12. How long before some teenage dick posts a smutty comment thinking its funny...

Keep pumping grease in until you see the fresh grease pushing out of the cracks (as opposed to the old grease which will be discoloured).

Unless its a Rolls Royce then ( or a lot of old british cars) all it dose it damage the seals......clean the nipples first as well so grit dosnt go in.
