My current steed is insured via a well known 'vintage car' insurance broker. I am not happy with the level of service provided and now I need insurance for my 2nd vintage its time to search out an alternative company. I know this thread is boring but any suggestions please.

I seem to remember that no matter which company you use, they all come back to Norwich Union. I take it that's the one you're not happy with?

(BTW, mines £125 a year F/C at 3500 miles)

I use footman james for my classics, they are all insured together on one policy for £135, two drivers, 1 austin seven special, 1 morris minor and 1 triumph gt6. They give me very good service.

I had to make a claim last Summer for a broken drivers window, the insurance company were good but the broker made real hard work of it. And now I phone said broker for quote on 2nd vintage and I'm told person who can help is'nt in office I get him to ring you, of course he did'nt ring back. Perhaps my expectations are too high?
