Unfortunately the Allard barley turned a wheel in anger at Le Sarthe but none the less when you consider it was built 10 years prior to the Bentley it really was a phenomenal design.

This car to my mind inspired a generation and is somehow quintessentially British in being so far ahead of its time and yet so obviously doomed to failure from the outset.

Too many....
M63 Alpine, GT40 Matra after Matra, Dtype, GTOs and the specials...
Some of the period tiddlers are excellent too. Like the Panhards and Renault 4cvs...
