Early Mk 2 VW Golf: headlamp aim adjustment
Discussion
I've an early Mk2 VW Golf (wipers have LHD wiper location only) and the headlamp aim is incorrect. I'm finding the adjustment tricky because unlike other 7" circular headlamps where theres an adjustment for azimuth and elevation this car has diagonally opposed screws I think at roughly 4o'clock and 10 o'clock.
Any tips on how to aim them?

One does mainly vertical adjustment and one does mainly horizontal, but as you have no doubt discovered they both do a bit of both! It's trial and error but easy once you see what moves what, by how much. Or ask a MOT tester to do it for you...Any tips on how to aim them?
