1955 Fiat 1100. Gear problem
Discussion
What have you tried so far?
Realistically there are only a few places it can be. Facing the H pattern it must surely be either to the left of first or second, or to the right of third or fourth. There may be a pull / push requirement (like on old Fords).
If a dogleg gearbox then there's an additional level of complexity but really the same principles apply.
Assuming you've tried all these, could it be that there's a problem with the gear linkage, or the box itself?
