Dad died a couple of years ago and we're still clearing out the sheds

Can anyone tell me what models these are from ?

I believe this came from an old MG

Obviously Rover but which one :

I think it's a Jaguar box with overdrive

I assume this is an early form of automatic

Jag ?

Dad seemed to think this Jaguar head was worth more than usual. I think he said it was a straight port ?

Thanks

Are the doors from a Rover P4?

Could be an MGB front cradle/subframe, Rover P4 doors and the gearbox will be a preselector, presumably from an Armstrong Siddeley.

Apparently the MG the parts came with was an old TD or similar

The doors are P4 - are they the same for 95 / 100 etc ?

Subframe looks like MGA or MGB, but the 5 stud hubs are a mystery.

Could the 5 stud hubs be VW Beetle or Porsche?

Don't think so, the pitch is too central, later versions were 4 stud.

With the drum brakes it will be no later than a 1500 MGA.

5 stud suggests it might be off a bigger BMC offering like the Westminster.

Armstrong Siddeley, according to the plate on the box.

...assuming that the hubs belong to the subframe.

Good point, the crossmember looks a lot like the one off my later rubber bumper B, with the ride height raising spacers on top.
