Hi everyone
I'm trying to identify some cars that I saw today Sept 28 2024 at Tattershall Castle. I wish I'd taken some pictures but I didn't. I presumed they were Morgans but I don't think they are now. They were "classic cars" with flared wheel arches, convertible roof, and an external fuel tank that was underneath the rear window. They had full doors, some had leather seats, nice interiors. While they were very small, they weren't like a caterham 7, more like a very small classic road car with "proper" seats and controls etc. Deffo 1940s style but all of them were in very very good condition. The two I looked at closely had little name plates on the bonnet with proper names like "nifty". Any ideas?

Mg was close and the Naylor a good suggestion but both looked a little too big. These were more "compact". I'll try and think of a better way to describe them...

Off thread a bit, but my first job in the early seventies was at Delsons. They had started off the Dellow, (Mr Delingpole and Mr Lowe) and at the time, old Mr Lowe still worked there occasionally and young Mr D was the MD. At that time they produced non-ferrous fasteners. There was still a dellow in the works garage in those days, and nowadays you can still see them competing in classic car trials.

As you were. wink
