I never tire of seeing a modded Ford , growing up in the Seventies they were part of the landscape and my old man tells me long before that . This will please a few Ford Enthusiasts , the wheels look similar to a popular brand back then Cosmic . Hopefully it finds a good home .

'Doctor! My eyes!' The Anglia in the OP looks nicer on the period Cosmic's rather than the stupid Carlo Fandango rims and tyres....
I'd personally rather have more period looking seats and certainly not a heavy old Pinto over the front axle, but......I just prefer more period looking modded cars.
The Cortina Mk.1 in the other link made me laugh, remembering some of the monstrosities often seen back in the 70's in the 'good old days'

I bet that Anglia is a handful!
ref the peiod Cosmic wheels, they look very much like Dunlop D1 alloys to me?
I had a set on a Mini once with the bespoke wheelnuts that never fitted anything else.

I remember my best mate who used work for Ripspeed back in the 80's talking about those rims/nuts and the problems they created.
I'm sure if I text him mentioning Dunlop alloys, I know what his response might be....and likely include the letters F and O

I was tempted to say they were Cosmics but wasn't 100% sureI'd personally rather have more period looking seats and certainly not a heavy old Pinto over the front axle, but......I just prefer more period looking modded cars.

Totally agree, a nice little Twin cam in there would be Perfick, and also ditch that silly exhaust tailpipe!I'd personally rather have more period looking seats and certainly not a heavy old Pinto over the front axle, but......I just prefer more period looking modded cars.

The Mk3 brings back some memories especially body roll in the corners when you were having a "sporting drive". A Cosworth lump under the bonnet and it looks a nice installation should guarantee some memories .

None of the memories I have of my 12 months ownership of a Mk.3 2.0GT can be considered pleasant The Mk3 brings back some memories especially body roll in the corners when you were having a "sporting drive". Horrible bloody thing.
Still have no idea to this day why I bought it
My father’s company cars, were all Fords, Anglia’s, Zephyr’s and Corsair’s. Then a MK3 Ford Cortina 2000 GT, twin headlights, rev counter, and four central gauges, angled towards the driver; I thought it was, “the dogs Jackson’s”.
Fond memories of being allowed to drive the NC500, before it was named that, I was fairly tall for a young teen.
Father, secured a big contract with BL, his reward a Triumph Dolomite 1850, to replace the 2000GT
It was his last car, he died shortly afterwards; he hated it; if only they’d ponied up for a Sprint, his last driving memories, may have been a very different story.
