Does anyone know a source (secondhand if needed for this type of Lucas toggle switch? Or a part number?

They look more 70's than anything else. I've been into classics for over 40 years and I don't think I have ever seen them. What car are they from please?

Those switches were used on a Bristol, possibly the Beaufighter.

They can be carefully dismantled, contacts cleaned, and reassembled if necessary.

I think they're also in TR7 and Lotus Elite etc, Googling switches for those cars throws up similar-looking results.

I thought they were TR7 too but they aren't exactly the same. Similar, but not the same.

Yes, they are generic Lucas used across TVR, Lotus, Triumph etc.

Switches themselves generally OK to source (places like Robsport and Rimmer Bros) but it’s the socket they plug into that seems to be rare….

They're not on the standard 412 or Beaufighter, maybe just the flat-dash cars (only 2 or 3 built I think).

Do you mean the corresponding socket on the loom?

Yes, it’s the socket for the loom which is difficult to find if anyone knows a source….

Look very much like Leyland Princess switches, to me.

Do you have a photo of the socket?

ETA - I'm presuming that yours are broken, rather than you don't have any. If the latter, a photo of the back of the switch might help.

Will do, some are missing and was thinking of individual terminals if it came to it or a 3D printer might be able to help with a universal base I could use.

Autosparks make looms for TR7 and Lotus Elite – https://www.autosparks.co.uk/triumph-tr7-main-wiring-harness – so they might be worth a try. Very good people to deal with I've found.

frown but in the notes for the TR7 loom it says some plugs are not available and to call for details.

Printing the plugs won't be a problem, I've made loom plugs from printable urethane that have worked a treat.
