It can tell you where your early registered plates were registered so will give you an idea where the owner lived.

In the olden days, when I was a lad, each County Council was responsible for regestering both vehicles and driver licences within their areas.

This was centralized into DVLA in Swansea, and now things take much longer than they used to.
