Much to my wife’s displeasure, one of my hobbies is looking for classic cars either abandoned or rotting by the side of the road.

Fortunately for me, Cyprus is littered with them. I can’t drive ten minutes without stumbling across something ridiculously cool.

There are some proper rarities out there. This was one back yard.

Yup. UN maintain the border between the two.

My folks used to live in Episkopi village, there was fields of classics everywhere, and I often said about filling a few containers and shipping them back but didn’t know where to start!

Is rust a problem there?

When I was knocking about in Saudi (Hijaz) I naively though the cars would be rust free, because v.hot etc. However, for whatever environmental reason the reverse was true. And all the plastic bits were baked.

I can also see 2 Volvo 262Cs, one of which in this pic with and a Mk 1 Celica in the middle of the pic

Also, is that a Shadow II in front of the Saab?

Looks like a Silver Wraith II with the smaller rear window.

Great work Dapster - I lazily saw the roofline and thought 'Fiat Dino'! Bigger C pillar vent is a dead giveaway now you've pointed it out.
