Insurance after a driving ban?? Help!!

I am due to have my licence reinstated after a 12mth ban for refusal to submit a breath sample (because of bloody mindedness on my part and an overly pushy plod). I had a clean licence for 20 years before this, I am a member of IAM and have a full NCB. Can anyone give any tips on insurers that would not nail me to the wall when trying to reinsure my MGB?

Was I belive..... I think they automaticaly sack you when you have been found guilty of drink driving
