My Austin is insured under a vintage car specialist and therefore I have to look elsewhere for a quote for the 1960's Vanden Plas I hope to purchase. Your top three companies and links would be appreciated. I'm not after the cheapest but a competitive quote from a solid company.
Many thanks.

Footman James have always given me very competitive quotes, and I have three cars covered by them. They give unlimited mileage and business use on vehicles over 30 years old. Also most policies I think include green card and european breakdown cover too. Phone 0845 458 6790

Adrian Flux seem to insure anything. They were the only company who would cover my Bitter or Tatra on an unlimited mileage, business use basis. 0870 692202

I'm pleased with AON Classics but I know others who prefer different companies.
Look in the back of one of the classic mags and check a few of them for the best deal.

Another vote for Footman James, very sensible premiums especially when you take into account free recovery/assistance and use abroad

Thanks for replies, I have decided on Adrian Flux who has come in at an very competitive quote with the 'extras' that I need.
Best quote £81.00 highest £129.00 all offering much the same.
