Can't provide any real evidence, but this pic comes from the Sankey Photo Archive. The archive features pictures taken in and around the Lake District. There was a manufacturer called Cumbria Motors, active in the construction of cyclecars from 1914, and based in Cockermouth, Cumbria.
No pictures I can find show anything like this, though. The caption on the Sankey site just says "Single seater sports car, location unknown".

I think this is a good shout. They built their cyclecars in two forms, a regular 2-seater and a monoplace low-slung car, according to Nick Georgano. No pictures I can find show anything like this, though. The caption on the Sankey site just says "Single seater sports car, location unknown".

"As far as is known no ‘Cumbria’ car survives, only one wire-spoked wheel..."
