Some Cars just seem to happen at the wrong time , take this Renault for instance . In its heyday to a mere Bricklayer like me it was completely out of reach and then there was my old man . My old man when I was growing up had a complete aversion to anything even slightly exotic and unfortunately a bit of that has rubbed off on me . Still a fair amount has been done and money clearly spent on this Cars upkeep and for me it looks a nice example . I am pleasantly surprised by the money being asked , I would have thought it would be much higher ?

Alternatively the Turbo is much more Money though personally I like the uncluttered lines of the earlier Car but an interesting price differential nonetheless

Lovely cars, like the French Lotus of their era.
After the original 60’s model, which are still strong money, the 70’s / 80’s and early 90’s found the cars languishing a little as second hand models, and have always suffered.
The second car you link to seems very overpriced, the first seems about right.
Things to watch for are chassis corrosion and a diminishing parts bin for the spares that weren’t common to other manufacturers.
In the flesh they look a lot more dramatic than in photos, my personal preference is like yours and would be the first one!
