I need something to store a car in outside (run out of garage space) and a Carcoon Outdoor seems perfect.

However speaking to stockists (including Demon Tweeks) it seems the company is almost dormant, with no one being able to get product.
DT say they have 25 units on back order and have had for 6 months with no idea when delivery will be.

Does anyone know what is going on with Carcoon? And can anyone suggest a good outdoor alternative for a classic car. I want one that it pressurized and sealed - so not metal frame temp garages etc

They are frustrating to deal with via phone /internet.

I turn up at their premises and do it that way - always get what I need .

Conscious it isn’t the one you are after OP but I phone Carcoon one lunchtime and they answered pretty promptly, could advise on stock and I received their Veloce model in a week. That was in early October and they appeared to have a fair few options available. My extension accessories ordered online have not been as swift however.

Equivalent Inthegarage worth a look.

There's been a thread or two on Carcoon issues if the site search will help!

Yes I think that is my back stop option. 40% more expensive though

That's changed. When I looked a couple of years ago they were about the same.

They do the old style “top hat” filters (at a price) which Carcoon now don’t.

I had one delivered about 6 weeks ago. I ordered online (direct from them) some time before that. Didn’t hear anything other than order confirmation, so phoned them and they shipped it next day, so feels like admin not their strong point! Great product though.

ETA - mine is an outdoor one.

The Carcoon is £562.87 from Demon Tweeks.
The In The Garage unit is £729 direct from them

to be fair that's 29% more expensive not 40%, but I get 10% off at DT making the Carcoon £513. Though that is irrelevant if DT cant get them.
