700 lots, wow.Now I understand why the staff complain re auction day work load.
They are the only ones I know of that intersperse all the ratty signs, sorry, memorabilia, in with the vehicles. Most others have that stuff all together and do the vehicles separately. No wonder the auctions take so long, they ought to be rattling through the junk like ACA do, in seconds, allowing more time for the vehicles, bidding in thousands of £ takes more deliberation.
Toby Stephens in the voice over for Bangers & Cash every week says they sell over 4000 'rare' vehicles per year. I think they used to mean items when the program started years ago, although it is much more than a few years ago and probably is thousands of cars per year. It used to be one day only affair, but since COVID and doing them online, it's 2 days. And many aren't rare, poetic licence there. I still watch it on TV.
