Where to find a good Bentley S1 or S2?
Discussion
I am on the lookout for a good Bentley S1 or S2.
This is going to be a car for long trips all over the place, so the mechanical condition should be okay.
I am handy with a spanner but not looking for a project. Not much rust a positive.
Currently, I am looking at the bigger auction houses with a budget that is on the low side.
All ideas most welcome.

As someone who also buys those kinds of cars, also at the lower end of the market, I'd say it's extremely ambitious to expect to get something cheap that will be able to take you reliably on long trips. While they are not complex cars by modern standards, they are very old and there's plenty to go wrong.

Indeed..... This is almost literally the old adage of "I want a Rolls Royce, but I've only got a Ford Fiesta budget"

The cheapest new fiesta (presumably from existing stock only now) on Ford's website is from £19,350.
PH Classifieds has this: Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit for "only" £15,995.
So you might want a Fiesta, but only have Rolls-Royce money.

This one sold today at auction, looks fairly tidy.
