My wife and I have 3 cars, all "future classics" - interesting cars that are about 20 years old, gently appreciating, or at least not depreciating.

I'm about to add a new car to be my daily driver.

I'd like to put the other 3 on limited mileage, agreed value policies, but am finding it difficult to get classic insurers to see them as "classic", rather then just old. We treat them like they are like classic cars - a few thousand miles per year, member of owners clubs, garaged, mature owners etc.

Can anyone recommend a broker or a firm that might understand?

Have you tried Footman James and Lancaster?
I think Classicinsuranceservices.com do a multicar policy

AIB.
I have 3 vehicles (20, 23 and 30 years old) + a work van insured through them. Been with them for years.

Another vote for Footman James. I have a couple of cars which aren't considered classics but they insured them on an agreed value (quite reasonably).

As above; classic and agreed value aren't the same thing.

You need to speak to a broker. Anyone who asks you to start filling out forms on the internet is not going to get you what you want.

We have a "fleet" policy for a mixed bag of cars between 1929 all the way up too modern. Some the insurance company consider as a "modern classic" which seemed ridiculous to me but whatever. Porsche Boxster or a modern BMW Mini to me is not a classic car.

Some have to be kept in garage / on drive etc etc. But it's all doable.

We were using Peter S Taylor but they got bought out by a bigger company and are now useless.

Speak to Bertie. He understands. No website, phone them.

I insure 5 vehicles with Pace Ward. My work van is by far the most modern and expensive, but the other 4 are a minimum of 18 yrs old ( Boxster S ), followed by a 19 yrs old Lexus IS300 Sportcross, a 20 yrs old Evo 8 with many mods and a 35 yrs old Mk1 MR2. If you disregard the van I pay about £1300 for the other 4, which I think is ok given the general recent increases in prices for cover.
