Could anybody reccomend a transport company at reasonable cost to bring a car from the South Coast to Scottish Borders? Have googled prices and it seem's like £600 to travel 424 miles? Would like to hear of any reccomendations.

That is cheap. See what a taxi would cost and then imagine that a lorry costs more to run

And you are paying for 800 odd miles, as they will have a two way journey.

Getting a train/plane/taxi and even a night in a Travelodge etc and driving it back would still be cheaper....unless of course car is a non-runner?

My brother owns a transport company based in Glasgow but covers the whole of the UK with daily movements up and down the country.

He has done work for a few folk on here and not heard any negative feedback.
