I have these rims and wonder what they are from? Are they an option on a 1.6 Escort Ghia mk2?

I am no Ford expert, but my Mum's old 76 Mk 2 Capri Ghia had those wheels on it. 13inch and 175 tyres IIRC.

I think you also used to see them on Escorts and Cortina's, but as with all Fords of the era there was a lot of independent parts swapping going on.

ETA the other thing I remember about them is that they were the devil to clean. Slightly rough cast finish meant that brake dust quickly became welded on. I earned my 2 quid pocket money boost washing that car;)

Agreed with the above.

I had a '77 Capri 3.0 Ghia with those wheels, IIRC mine were 13" and fitted with 185 width tyres.

Today I was shown a brochure and shows the wheels as an option, so that clears that up!

My Dad had a 2000E Cortina with the same powder blue interior as that.

The Mk 2 Escort was a tidy looking car, wasn't it? Always preferred it to the Mk 1. Probably heresy!

Ford called it "cloud".
