Discussion
Some of these should bring back some memories. In my family we had a Mk3 Escort 4 door, Mk3 XR3 and Mk2 XR2

Only looked at the headline picture, but can't be an ultimate fast ford collection without an EsCos for me! I'm assuming it was a bit new for this collection perhaps.
This, aside from the Sierra Cos i'd struggle to call any of them Fast Fords. I wouldn't go so far as to say they're polishing a turd as the cars do look tidy and some of them are rare in their own right, but when I think of 'dream' Fast Fords these ain't them.wpa1975 said:
Still a few quid's worth, Fiesta Supersport is really hard to find now
Saw an immaculate red one on the way down to Wembley Sunday morning. It must have been only doing 55 max.
Had a HGV bearing down on it as I passed and it looked tiny.
Think I may have pushed it to 65 mph to avoid mixing it with HGVs.

Out of all those I would pick the XR2, or the other Fiesta, which looks like a base model 1.1!
The red XR3i for me, I had a 1.3l and always wanted an XR3i but couldn't affford it or the insurance.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
