Has anyone got one of these four post car storage lifts - are they any good and can they be used routinely for maintenance ie exhaust replacement/undersealing?

This kind of thing:

Yes I have one , I have used it for the restoration of my XK120 and general maintenance. I have the movable rolling jack also.
It’s very handy to be able to move around the garage on the 4 caster levers . I use it for general maintenance , now on the 120 and the Alfa 105

I will pm you

Yes I have 2 of them, coming up for 2 years now and no issues ......... but they don't get used much as they are a storage solution but I have and do use for working on the cars.

What make and spec are yours? Looks like I may need a short one.

Hi, mine are exactly the ones you have pictured (cheap ones on Ebay about £1800 from memory - so probably £3k the way people are taking the P currently) I don't remember there being any options regarding size
