I have got greedy and bought another classic.
Trouble is I have a 3 bay garage and it's full with other classics and bikes. I need to store one either 60 miles away at another garage or outside in some sort of safe bubble thing.
I have seen outdoor car cocoon things are they any good.
Is there an alternative on the market.
I could sell one but that takes time.

First world problems, eh.

I had a Carcoon and it was good but the sun eventually killed the material, which should not be a problem in the UK. Unless you have a dehumidifier it won't be as good inside a garage, but they also get moist.

I’ve been using a carcoon and it’s been fine. Doesn’t like the snow, so need to make sure it’s kept clear of any, but otherwise good.

Hi

As previously mentioned, they don’t like snow!

I’ve recently had to throw one away after 4yrs because the outer shell became crispy and paper like and it tore! That’s after 4yrs of the heat we’ve had and the cold, it was inflated for 4yrs!

Here are some pics of my discs after opening them for the first time in 9 months!

I have an inflatable garage from “in the garage “ inflates in 5 mins, has 2 fans to keep air circulating and pump to keep inflated when the pressure drops.

I’m in a similar position and have elected to pay to store one and will rotate which one is in storage. Not cheap but cheaper than dealing with bodywork issues from storing one outside later.

Edit to add I’m lucky to have a dehumidified secure storage facility within walking distance at a push (although as I’ll likely be swapping cars over that’s not really an issue)
