I’m road registering a 1961 Cannon Historic Trials car.

What are the minimum requirements for lights etc ?

I believe there is a category for “daytime use”.

My understanding is that all that is required are brake lights, side lights front and back and a squeezy hooter. Maybe a speedo too.

Can any of you knowledgable fellas help?

And you'll find the requirements for audible warning instrument in Section 7.7 and the speedometer in Section 7.8 of the same manual.
