MG Registration FS 5849

[Keep it stiff]

In the gutter on the northbound on-slip of junction 9 of the M6 is a somewhat twisted spare-wheel, carrier and number plate showing FS 5849. It looks like it has been there for sometime. I'm not sure what club best represents pre-war MG's, if you are reading this and move in such circles perhaps you could pass this info on, I'm guessing that there is an owner out there somewhere who would appreciate getting an original part of their car back.

Yes, Edinburgh no less, but that would have been issued so long ago that it isn't relevant now.
