Hi all. Whilst watching the ' wiggles' with the 3 year old. During one of the songs, I noticed what looked like a rover of some kind by the window shape. I've not been able to find it online though. Is it an early one? Also, I wonder how it ended up with some dingos in a wiggles video! Here's a photo from the screen..

It's an early 50's Rover P4 'Cylops', probably a 75.

Beardy point: as it has the half-ring horn push (on the steering wheel), that makes it a 1950 or 1951 model, though I doubt your 3-year old would be that interested in the detail wink

The cyclops was alwzys the 75. The 90 was introduced with the first bodywork revisiom.

Your son might also want to know about this cars freewheel device, which allowed for clutchless gear changes but without engine braking. I believe its illegal these days but hey, Rover drivers are rebels, right??

No, williamp's correct. 60 and 90 were introduced late '53, by which time the cyclops front had changed (1952) to the later grille without the centre light.
