Interested to find my old Mk2 Mexico
Discussion
Afternoon PHers.
many moons ago I owned a MK2 sunburst yellow Mk 2 Mexico, black vinyl roof, roll top recaros, twin cibie oscars, high lift cam, K&N, 4/2/1 manifold and it was rejetted (NOT remapped). I sold it for £1100 (I know, I know but it was 1986), but according to the UK Gov road tax website it's currently taxed and on the road!
The Reg number was RAW XXX R. I didn't want to put all of it in obviously, if anyone has contacts on Ford sites could you do a bit of digging please? You may even own it.
Thanks in advance, I'm just dead pleased that it's still going after all these years as it vanished off the radar for a while.

I owned mk2 Mexico's in the mid 80's, they didn't come in sunburst yellow. And I never saw a genuine mk2 Mex worth buying for £1100.many moons ago I owned a MK2 sunburst yellow Mk 2 Mexico, black vinyl roof, roll top recaros, twin cibie oscars, high lift cam, K&N, 4/2/1 manifold and it was rejetted (NOT remapped). Certainly couldn't buy a decent Mk 2 Mexico in '86 for that money . Not so sure about the colour , Aeropilot will be along soon with a definitive answer .
