Lovely car but for me the martini stripes need to be per the competition cars or similar enough in style that you'd never know

Hi, saw the pic at Eilean Donan on FB yesterday.
Do you like them?

I prefer it without, but it's your car & you choose.

A touch of the San Remo rally 1989 livery. I like it

Have to say I prefer it plain red. But, nevertheless it's always good to see it on the road being used regularly.

As you asked, it doesn’t look great - cheapens it. If the base colour wasn’t red then maybe…

I preferred it just red - for me the Martini livery only works right on a white car.

But it's not my car, so if you like it keep them!

If you're undecided (and they won't mess paintwork up) then keep them for a while

The photos & videos you post of the Integrale are top class - probably the best on Pistonheads IMO. Not a fan of the new look. I think the plain red shows the car at its best. Won’t detract from me following your posts though.

Yup! Love the posts and the videos. But the stripes don’t do it for me either. Sorry!

Fabulous car regardless though!

Such a great looking car even after all these years.

Love the car.

I also usually love decals on a rally-look car but my first instinct was that it didn't look right here. A quick google images search tells me I'm not really sure what I like on a red car to be honest. Seems easier on a white one biggrin

I'm with the majority in that I don't like the Halfords stripe kit, because I don't see the point. If you want to make a rally replica, it's not that hard to do. If you want to be more creative, don't use Martini as an inspiration.

However, I'm in the minority in that I don't consider the Delta a particular appealing car to look at. It's a fairly dull, functional 1970s hatchback that's taken some steroids. Dynamically brillant, I know, but visually a bit average, so if striping it is what you want to do, then crack on. But for me, no amount of striping will make it look lovely. Sorry.

Yes, same for me

Prefer plain red or decals on white

But if you like it that’s really all that matters

I've never seen a red Integrale with Martini stripes before. Just had a quick swizz on the 'net and found this with the traditional Martini colours - can't say I'm a fan. It's such a cool car though.

I remember the early Integrale 8v rally car in red livery with Martini stripes

I didn't think the Evo factory rally cars ever came in a red livery in period but I did find this pic, a '92 road car in red rally livery which has yours stripes in blue

Basically any of the above are sex on wheels -
It's vinyl and changeable - enjoy running various options over time...

I never achieved Integrale Evo level in my lancia life but cycle in a different road bike (cycle) livery each year if not season sometimes. Sometime I regret the change, sometimes I go back to a past.

I'love the idea of doing it on a Delta!
