I was just idly wondering, like you do, if any Jamaican's made it to the uk?

Yes, don't know much but there was one racing at Lydden Hill in September 2020.

I had never heard of these and was expecting a horror. Actually quite good looking.

This one looks to be painted in Porsche Light Green metallic (275).

That one above is in California Sage - Aston Martin colour

this is mine, imported from the states 7 years ago now. It’s Healey 3000 based, but still at the project stage !
There’s also this one

Based on a Triumph TR, this beauty was displayed at the NEC a few years ago. There’s also reputed to be a VW based one somewhere.
We even have our own Facebook page now !

Exciting. Is your Healey based car still with the 6 pot?

I'm in the facebook group.

Fascinating cars. I'd love to have one, the emotional scars of a Gordon Keeble must be healing.

Still the 3000 engine yes, but a Toyota 5 speed gearbox. Lots of other stuff going on too, which is why it’s taking so long !

I only know cos the owner said he’d painted in Aston Martin colours. As you say pcs and laptops can alter shades a lot

A kit car that looks as good as that must have been bloody expensive to build right.

I think I have the other body in the UK - bought it from the chap who has the one in the first picture. It was on a VW I believe, but it isn't a VW spec body. Currently awaiting enough time to work on it. 1967 chassis and 1968 327 are all ready to go with it.

Interesting back story in that the Fibrefab founder and company owner shot his wife then died in jail..............

In 1967, Goodwin was arrested on suspicion of murder in the shooting death of his 28-year-old second wife and Fiberfab executive, Jamaica Karen Goodwin (nee Elwood).[5][7] He was convicted of voluntary manslaughter and sentenced to twelve months imprisonment. He died of a heart attack while serving his sentence on 26 December 1968.[8

The Bonhams auction at Goodwood sold the car seen racing in the very first picture - for £36k.
Just Perspex for side windows ( with no seals ) and rather large gaps on one side.
It’s me who changed my tail lights 😀 . Just adding to the glassfibre work !
