Finding out where a car was sold and retro dealer plates?
Discussion
If it's a WU reg, quite likely it will have been sold / registered through the Hartwell dealer group as they had a couple of Ford dealers within the Bristol & surrounding areas back in the '00's.
Mine is build #2782 and still on it's original WU53 reg. The service booklet / reg plates & keyrings, that came with the car back in '06 when i bought it, showed it as being supplied / registered from new by Hartwell Ford Swindon to the first owner, so could be the same dealer for yours.
Might also be worth asking on the Mk1 FRSOC - https://www.mk1focusrsoc.com/ - as Clayton who runs the site has a lot of history for the builds of the Mk1 FRS and may know the exact dealer if he's come across the car / owner previously.

Is there any chance you could take a pic of your number plates and dealer sticker?

Unfortunately can't help with the dealer sticker as that had already gone before i bought the car - likely when a previous owner did the window tinting. Is there any chance you could take a pic of your number plates and dealer sticker?
As for the plate, i can't get a current pic as i'm not with the car so best i can do at the moment is a crop from a larger overall pic of the car (which seems to be good enough with a bit of zoom - PH will probably resize it but might be bigger if you click through to the image on Thumbsnap). Nothing special really though - just a standard early '00's plate with border / Hartwell web adress in red (rather than black) along the bottom.
