I work with a guy who has an old MG with wire wheels which need refurbishing. Anyone had any experience and could point me in the direction of a company that could do the job.

Cheers

For bits like that it would probably be cheaper if you find a powder coating place in your area. There should be one near you. They can shot blast your wheels for you and then powder coat them in most colours including silver. It is a lovely finish and it shouldnt cost too much either. I've had a few things powder coated and the bloke always does it whens he's doing loads of other stuff that colour so it never costs much.

Hope this helps

Does your friends wheel need repairing - eg new spokes - or just a cosmetic repair?

We met Steve from SAS a few years ago, nice chap with a interesting Crane Simplex Racer, he has recently replaced a few loose spokes on a friends Speed 20 Alvis - just book and the wheel and tyre is collected and it comes back in a week or two.
