Great Video - Thanks.

By the way - I live in Woodbridge and had no idea that event was on, where was it promoted?

Hello Chris.

I think that the event is usually mentioned in The Evening Star/East Anglian Daily Times. I work with people that join in on the run so I always know about the event beforehand. It’s usually around the same time of year these days. I have fond memories of the run from my childhood as my dad dragged us around whilst he compared his anorak with other like minded car nutters. Ooooh, are those standard peddle rubbers on that 1936 Riley Monaco?

Chris,

The run is organised by the Ipswich Transport Museum. Usually organised for the Sunday of the first Bank Holiday weekend in May. We've missed the entry deadline for the last three years, but managed to get onto this years event.

Shaun,
great videos, although our Midget didn't feature! I didn't realise there was a Felixstowe TV website and I work in Felixstowe.
I see you have a Chimaera, have you ever been to a Suffolk/Norfolk TVRCC meet? The next one is Sunday at the Trowel and Hammer in Cotton.

Hi Mark

I have not attended a meeting yet. Certainly intend to, but every time meeting comes around, it clashes with kids stuff, etc.

what is the red and white car 1min 19secs through that looks a bit like mine (the 30's Alfas). It has huge lights and looks massively mean and moody!

Sorry no idea on the red car. I've looked at the video again, but can not see the entry number.

No matter what colour your anorak is, you’re always welcome.
